Hi, I’m Lulu!

I am a Chicago-born artist, currently living and working in Los Angeles.

I began my heavy work in the competitive dance world before transitioning to classical concert training. I attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts where I rigorously studied ballet, contemporary jazz, and Graham Technique. Under the direction and mentorship of dance chair and Ruth Page award-winning choreographer Randy Duncan, I had the opportunity to study and perform works by renowned choreographers such as Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, Brian Brooks, and Bill T. Jones, culminating in my first choreographic work: “Each Other.”

Since my graduation from the Academy, I spent a year continuing my ballet training in the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA program in San Francisco. I moved to Los Angeles to further my studies at AMDA and more actively pursue a career in commercial dance.

Currently, I am in my final year at AMDA and am working on developing my artistic fingerprint in choreography. I aim to pull from my training in various classical and street styles to create a dynamic, intriguing fusion.
